The Kunz Paraffin Dispenser, for embedding tissue biopsies, is made of polyester lacquered aluminium. The Paraffin Dispenser is a module in the series of apparatus that comprises the well-known Kunz embedding centre
.
The Paraffin Dispenser is the central unit in the embedding centre. The construction of the module makes possible a flexible set-up of
the embedding centre, and can be arranged on the right side or the left side. Future adjustments, extensions and inter-changing of individual
modules can also easily be performed.

The Paraffin Dispenser is fitted with separate switches and adjustable
thermostats for the heating plate, paraffin vessel/nozzle and thermometer
for the paraffin vessel, and also a lamp by the nozzle. The paraffin nozzle is activated by pressing a pneumatic foot pedal, thus ensuring full mobility and use of both hands during the embedding
work.
